  1. Create a plan for your goal

    • Map out what it will take to accomplish your goal.

    • Create a tracking system where you are able to track what you are trying to accomplish.  This can be a notebook, notes app in your phone or on your computer, or even post-it notes in a place in your home.

    • Think of how long it will take you to accomplish it and what you need to do to accomplish it.

  2. Set realistic timelines.  

    • Goals take time.  Map out how long it will take to accomplish what you are trying to do. 

    • Many people will give up on something because it takes effort to make a real change and a lot of effort to accomplish something big. If you give yourself realistic timelines it will help you set yourself up for success

  3. Take actionable steps to 

    • Break your goal into steps and start taking action. Create small goals and milestones to achieve the main goal.  

  4. Remind yourself of your goal daily 

    • Set the intention to not give up and remind yourself daily of your goal and why you are doing it

  5. Give Yourself Grace

    • Did you mess up?  It's okay.  Just begin again and reset.  If you’re changing a habit it will take time to get there and there will be some bumps in the road along the way.  

    • Also know that you will likely not be perfect in trying to achieve your goal and that's okay.
